Recreated clothing
The photographs alongside this article were taken during a Hoplite Association pre-season review of equipment and illustrate some of the lengths that members go to in the reconstruction of authentic clothing and equipment.
Many of the items that can be seen were made by Association members to authentic designs.
Pazyryk
This area of the Altai in Siberia has provided a wealth of archaeological finds of the Scythian peoples. Much of what can be seen here has been constructed to patterns made from finds in that area.
